My Big Goal 

I got my degree in statistics last year, so I want to use my skills to improve Delivery and advance to AC II. 

My Big Lesson

Listen to everyone. I’ve learned how to listen widely and learn from everyone because there are many different views of our work. 

My Favorite Memory

Over the summer, my GA was promoted to a new Pod, which was difficult because he handled so much for the team. However, the memory is positive because I had to challenge myself to take on organizing tasks for our client in his absence. 

My Big Surprise 

Everybody is so friendly here! Proper hires very good people. It’s something I can’t explain—everyone has a warm, big, generous heart, and they’re open to helping. I like working here. 

What I’m Proud Of 

Along with taking over when my GA moved on, my Pod had a difficult closing month toward the end of 2023 —we were closing things out with one client and organizing tasks for a new client— but when we finally closed the year and month for both clients, it was great. We were proud just to have survived, and I couldn’t have done it without my team. 

The Fun Stuff

What was your childhood ambition?

I wanted to be a nurse. My favorite aunt is a nurse. She’s amazing, so I wanted to be like her, but I realized medicine, sick people, and blood are not for me. My aunt is still amazing, but I don’t want to be a nurse. 

If you could work remotely from absolutely anywhere, where would it be?

Madeira, Portugal. It’s beautiful. I’ll get close this year, but I want to make sure I have time to enjoy the island when I visit. 

What is your favorite type of taco? 

I’m not that into tacos. We don’t eat them in Colombia. 

What has inspired you recently? 

At the end of the year, all of Pod 5 had a meeting where we just chatted about our memories of 2023 and reflected on how grateful we are for our leaders and coworkers. Then we talked about our dreams for 2024, which made me realize how much we have in common and how much we can accomplish individually and together. 

If you could be any animal, which would you be, and why?

Penguin. They’re cold but loyal and cute. They’re chilly outside but warm inside.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

“Calm down, this is not a race.”

My supervisor, Milena, reminded me not to take on everything as fast as possible. She advised me to slow down, take things one at a time, and step by step. I’ve applied that to everything in my life since then.
