My Big Goal 

As I move and change from one team to another, I'd like to connect with my new teammates in the short term and establish relationships with my new Pod and our leader Paola, so we can grow together and become one of Proper's best Pods. 

My Big Lesson 

It’s ok to dream out loud. I’m often shy, and keep my dreams to myself until I achieve them—that way, I don’t have to tell others if I fail. But I’ve learned that it’s ok to share with my family and friends, who’ll still love me just the same, and actually, they help to hold us accountable.

My Favorite Memory 

We had a team building last September where we were each assigned a team member to write a letter of appreciation for. Mine from Clau made me cry with her kind words about me, and she even included a drawing of my dog, Maya.  

My Big Surprise

I’ve been reading a book, All About Love, and I’ve been surprised by the many different ways we give and receive love along with my own ideas about love. The book goes beyond romantic love to touch on friendships, communication, empathy, and integrity. I’ve been surprised by the perspective and how applicable it’s been to my life in and out of Proper.

What I’m Proud Of

I’m proud of my adaptability. I always thought of myself as rigid, but I’ve discovered how flexible and capable I can be, and I’m proud of that and how open-minded I’ve proven to be. 

The Fun Stuff

What was your childhood ambition?

I’ve always wanted to be a businesswoman, and even now, I’m achieving my business goals. On weekends, I work with my family’s business growing pineapples in Veracruz to sell in Mexico City. We hope to expand to different markets and countries in the next few years.  It’s why I like Proper: it leaves me time to pursue my business—before, I was always commuting to and from work. 

If you could work remotely from absolutely anywhere, where would it be?

From a nice city like Vienna. 

What is your favorite type of taco? 

Maybe fish tacos these days.

What’s inspired you recently? 

People who have a dream and don’t wait to act. 

If you want to open an ice cream shop, you could think of all the reasons to wait for the perfect moment, but I’m inspired by people who don’t wait to achieve their dreams.

If you could be any animal, which would you be, and why?

A turtle. They’re very patient, calm, and quiet. Turtles live a long time, so they must know a lot. And I imagine it’s cool just to chill, swimming in the ocean.

Coffee.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

If there’s a solution to a problem, don’t worry about it. If there’s no solution to a problem, why worry about it?
