My Big Goal

I want to be promoted to Senior Accountant and, of course, keep learning because, on the Implementation team, we see the entirety of Proper’s processes.

My Big Lesson

This is something I learn and reinforce daily: on a team, you need to be aware of each other's weaknesses and strengths and organize accordingly to meet any challenge.

My Favorite Memory

We organized a Proper party in Mexico City, where I met and got to know my co-workers in Mexico, along with people like Eric, Mark, and JP.

My Big Surprise

When I applied to be part of the Implementation team, it was a while until I heard back about the position. I thought I had been rejected or not considered for the position, but at the party in Mexico City, Eric took me aside and surprised me by welcoming me to the Implementation team. 

What I’m Proud Of

Being part of the Implementation team working with Daria, Ileana, Alicia and Alfredo — I’m very proud to be a valuable part of the Implementation team. 

The Fun Stuff

What was your childhood ambition?

I wanted to be a firefighter, but I grew up seeing Mexican firefighters, which, if you’ve seen a Mexican firefighter, that’s not a job you want. I wanted to be an American firefighter.  

If you could work remotely from absolutely anywhere, where would it be?

Thailand, for the food, of course. 

What is your favorite type of taco? 

Sanjuaneros.

What’s inspired you recently? 

My son was diagnosed with autism four years ago and has been attending a special facility, and seeing his progress is amazing. He’s a different kid now, speaking and improving. It reminds me that we can always improve, no matter your age.

If you could be any animal, which would you be, and why?

A tiger! When I was young, I was very shy. If I had the confidence I have now, things would be different. So my biggest goal in life is to teach my son to face life like a tiger—always attacking life head-on.

Tea or coffee? 

Coffee. Always. Strong coffee in a big mug, liters, and liters.
