My Big Goal

I want to learn more from my Senior and leaders while I’m also working on pursuing a degree in psychology. My vision is to work in a Senior position as an administrator focusing more on the human aspect of our work from both the client and employee perspective. 

It’s important to practice empathy: I want to understand the human and then the accountant while developing my skills as a property management accountant.

My Big Lesson

To be more organized with my time and more efficient. It’s something I’ve improved the last year thanks to Jira.

My Favorite Memory

Taco Day, when we had a chance to order our favorite taco, and had lunch meetings with our Pods. I hope we repeat that this year. 

My Big Surprise

I worked with certain Pod 8 clients and colleagues for a while, so some of the changes with personnel and client processes were surprising. Still, I was even more surprised by how well the Pod faced those changes and turned them for good. It surprised me that a virtual company has had that level of accessibility and flexibility.

My promotion to GA. I’m very happy about it.

What was your childhood ambition?

I wanted to be a rockstar in a band, playing guitar and traveling the world. 

If you could work remotely from absolutely anywhere, where would it be?

Madrid.

What is your favorite type of taco? 

Al Pastor. 

What’s inspired you recently?

Some recent changes impacted one of our more challenging clients. Still, our new Senior has been an inspirational leader in helping us navigate new processes and keep clients happy. 

If you could be any animal, which would you be, and why?

An eagle. The vision they have, They fly, and they’re one of the fastest animals in the world.

Coffee. 100% coffee.

Star Wars — the first six episodes.

What's the best advice you've ever received?

A Senior once told me that we should approach this job like restaurant service – the client comes, sees the menu and expects what they order to be correct and on time. If Proper was a restaurant, we’re the chefs and must take pride in our work to create the best results.
