What I’m Proud Of
I’m proud that I’m working in the field I studied and advanced my career. This has been my first opportunity to work in accounting, and it’s a beautiful feeling to do what I love professionally.
The Fun Stuff
What was your childhood ambition?
I wanted to be a singer. Later, I fell in love with accounting and focused fully on that dream.
If you could work remotely from absolutely anywhere, where would it be?
Maybe Canada. I see a lot of interesting social media posts that make it look like fun to work in Canada.
What has inspired you recently?
I adopted a dog recently, and since I’m introverted and not a social person, I’ve been inspired by her to be more open to new people and experiences.
If you could be any animal, which would you be, and why?
A koala. I took a Facebook quiz and scored “koala.” They’re not super social animals, but they’re fascinating in their own way.
What’s your go-to karaoke song?
“Whenever, Wherever” — Shakira
Tea or coffee?
Coffee. If I say tea, I’ll disappoint Colombia.
What’s a movie everyone should see at least once?
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
A university professor advised me to remember to keep dreaming to get through life.
If we don’t have dreams, we don’t sleep well!
