I want to advance towards a higher position (or two, eventually) and help the company create high-performance teams that can be self-taught experts in our services.

Work-life balance is always a necessity and a priority; the more comfortable people feel with their current job, the more productive they will be.

Receiving recognition from Peak Living & MMRE.

Appreciation is sometimes secondary because we focus on hard work and goals. Still, some kudos from our customers occasionally helps everyone feel more comfortable and motivated with our daily tasks.

I’m still amazed, after two years, by the kindness of everyone at Proper. Finding such exceptional, warm people in the business world is quite unusual.

The Fun Stuff

What was your childhood ambition?

I used to think about going to space as an astronaut, but I also thought about being an architect. I studied architecture before accounting, but it wasn’t my thing. 

If you could work remotely from absolutely anywhere, where would it be?

Japan. Maybe Tokyo or Osaka with a view of Mount Fuji — I love how they’ve merged the urban landscapes with nature; or Rome, with the Fontana di Trevi in sight.

What is your favorite type of taco? 

Pastor/cochinita pibil.

What has inspired you recently? 

My girlfriend: no matter your goals, you need to take little breaks from time to time to rest and reward hard work.

If you could be any animal, which would you be, and why?

An eagle or some kind of bird. I love seeing landscapes, especially on road trips. I love staring into the woods and distance.

Coffee. Make it an espresso.

What's the best advice you've ever received?

Always be humble and learn as much as I can from anyone I cross paths with.
