My Big Goal 

I’d like to advance into the next position as a Senior Accountant. I like my work at Proper, so that would be the next big step for me here. 

I’d like to ascend to higher positions, step-by-step, and keep performing well. 

My Big Lesson

Working remotely. I never had the opportunity to work virtually at my previous jobs. It’s very different, so it was a big adjustment. 

We work in teams, and don’t see each other in person, so I’ve been learning to get to know people better by chatting on screens. The environment we create at Proper allows us to get to know each other and feel like a family. It keeps us all confident in Proper and each other. 

My Favorite Memory 

Team building with BTF. We had an all-hands activity where we shared lists of favorite movies and music, then played a game of Kahoot! with all our favorite things. We listened to our favorite music and caught clips from our favorite movies. It was really fun. 

My Big Surprise 

The way we work and communicate with each other. We’re all comfortable that, despite our differences in location, age, and experience, we’re confident in our relationships. Like I mentioned, Proper is a big family, and we all feel good about working here and helping each other out. We never think twice about helping each other; we just do it. 

What I’m Proud Of

I’m proud of everything I’ve learned about real estate. When I started with Proper, I didn’t know anything about real estate. I worked for Deloitte in completely different industries. I’ve had to learn a lot and find new ways to improve how I do my job and resolve things daily. I’m proud of myself for that. 

The Fun Stuff

What was your childhood ambition?

I wanted to be a pilot. That’s still my dream, and I’m hoping for the opportunity to learn to fly. 

If you could work remotely from absolutely anywhere, where would it be?

Somewhere on the beach, like the Maldives or maybe somewhere in Europe, different from where I am now. 

What is your favorite type of taco?

Al pastor. 

What has inspired you recently? 

Myself. I’m trying to get better at everything I do, to be better than I was in university, and to work hard to achieve my goals. My family and my girlfriend are supporting my choices and keeping me going. 

If you could be any animal, which would you be, and why?

A lion. They’re not afraid of any other animal.
