My Big Goal

Slaying the beast that is Oakwood, our new $50k MRR client. Thus far, it’s going well, but it’s a lot.

My Big Lesson

Patience. I need to be patient with myself and everyone else around me. Some things are in my control, but for the things that aren’t, I just need to be patient. 

My Favorite Memory

The team-building time with Danielle and the rest of the team in recent meetings has been great. We’ve been able to spend time on non-work-related stuff, which is always fun. 

My Big Surprise

How fast it all goes by! I’m already on my two-year anniversary. 

What I’m Proud Of

The turnaround that we’ve had with Affinity. It’s a large, $28K MRR client that we almost lost. It took a lot of teamwork, but we were able to save them. 

The Fun Stuff

What was your childhood ambition?

To be a teacher. I was a seventh-grade social studies teacher for a year. It didn’t last, so I made the shift to property management. 

If you could work remotely from absolutely anywhere, where would it be?

Back home in Virginia with my family. 

What is your favorite type of taco? 

Al pastor.

What inspired you recently?

My husband has been inspiring me to work out. He’s been going to the gym daily, and I realize, “OK if you’re going to do that, I need to step it up too.” 

It’s inspired me to start taking care of myself more.

If you could be any animal, which would you be, and why?

A chameleon. I like to blend in and observe when I need to, but also I like to show my colors when I want to. I like the versatility of camouflaging when needed or coming out bright and swinging.

What’s your go-to karaoke song? 

I’m a karaoke queen—I love karaoke. I’d have to say some old country, probably, “She’s Got You” —Patsy Cline. 

Tea or coffee? 

Coffee. All day. 

What's a book everyone should read at least once?

Every Good Endeavor — Timothy Keller

What's the best advice you've ever received?

Don't sweat the small stuff.
