I want to build out Proper’s customer support system and improve HubSpot processes for the CS team.
My experience is in customer success, CRM, and relationship building, so my big goal is to establish better processes that leverage the knowledge I’ve accumulated over the past 20 years.
It’s not your proximity to a person but how we intentionally build relationships.
We work in different countries, and I feel I could still pop into the next room to see my colleagues. In companies I worked for during the pandemic, we barely talked to each other, but Proper builds those relationships into the organization.
I spoke to someone on the Delivery Team who had a great idea. She was nervous about sharing, but I brought her into a meeting with our PMAEs, and it was such an appreciative, welcoming conversation. The team was very interested in her ideas; they asked a bunch of questions, encouraged her to bring more ideas, and wanted her coworkers to do the same!
Watching that interaction was one of the reminders that leadership doesn’t just say they listen; they actually do.
Collaboration Fuels Creation. I constantly ask others what they think, and even when I bring up an idea and hear, “That’s not gonna work,” it’s good feedback. I just move on to something that will work.
I’m big on engagement because work-life balance is so important to me. I want to feel like I’m part of an organization. I enjoy playing games in company meetings and team building—Proper brings camaraderie and fun.
I learn quickly. I have a stockbroker/finance background, but need to gain experience with accounting. Still, the Delivery Team and ALs have helped me understand enough accounting to help our clients at a high level.
Now, I’m studying accounting on my own and getting more confident.
I wanted to be a CEO. Now, there’s no way I’d like to do that—it’s too much work— but I’ve always wanted to be in business.

My uncle passed away recently, and at his funeral, everyone there had nothing but good words about him and how fully he lived his life. He was a happy person — a jokester.
My uncle traveled, shared his wisdom, and cared for his relationships. He cared about people, relationships, community, and life. It inspired me to think of how I want to be remembered and reminds me to take care of my relationships.
A panda. When I see a panda chilling and eating a bamboo leaf, I want to live that life.
