My Big Goal 

Continue growing, specifically as a team. There have been recent changes within the Pod, so I want to make that a learning experience for my team as we adapt. 

My Big Lesson

In light of all the changes within Proper, I’ve learned to be open to the opportunities change provides and the improvements that come when we change how we do things. 

My Favorite Memory 

Whenever I meet with all of my Proper colleagues, most recently, last weekend, I caught up with some Colombian colleagues. It’s good getting to know each other outside of work and having fun on the weekends when we can. 

My Big Surprise 

When I compare Proper to my previous jobs, I’m always surprised by the support I find among my team, particularly my Accounting Lead, Moises. He’s always sharing his knowledge, supporting us, and inspiring us to try our best with each project. 

What I’m Proud Of 

Along with all the knowledge I’ve gained starting Proper as a property accounting newcomer, I've accomplished all the goals I’ve set for myself at Proper. Last year, I wanted to be a Senior, and now I’m a Senior, and I’ve even had proposals accepted that changed how we introduce new joiners. 

The Fun Stuff

What was your childhood ambition?

My cousins and I always played as bankers, so I was always looking to work with money or finance. That was my dream job, so I landed in the right place. 

If you could work remotely from absolutely anywhere, where would it be?

Anywhere near the beach!

What is your favorite type of taco? 

Carnitas.

What has inspired you recently? 

Just last weekend, enjoying time with friends outside the office was inspiring. It strengthens the bonds as we work together as well. It’s good to work with people you know and care about. 

If you could be any animal, which would you be, and why?

A dog. I have a dog who lives better than me!
